London Lipo Institute (LLI) are pleased to offer expertly performed Liposculpture to patients from across the world. We specialise in liposculpture, and are therefore able to offer the highest quality of service to our patients. This is reflected in our very high levels of patient satisfaction. Patient safety and welfare is our number one concern, and this is reflected in our exemplary safety record to date. Our liposculpture clinics are purpose-built and specially designed for the liposculpture procedure.
We utilise the most advanced Liposculpture technology available today to ensure the most aesthetically pleasing results are obtained.
Our Plastic Surgeons have many years experience of performing Liposculpture and hold training courses in London – the world’s premier destination for Cosmetic Surgery.
Your consultation will always be performed by a fully trained Surgeon who will also perform your procedure. The same surgeon will also monitor your progress after the procedure. This allows full continuity of care.
We offer a comprehensive aftercare guarantee to all our patients across all our liposculpture clinics. All patients will have the benefit of comprehensive follow-up by their treating surgeon. After the procedure, patients have access to their surgeon for consultation, for as many times as they wish. This is over and above the standard consultation regime following the liposculpture procedure. This allows total piece of mind to our patients knowing they have access to a complete and comprehensive package of care.
The latest research evidence confirms that the quality of the medical decision-making on your care has the the single biggest impact on the final treatment outcome. Between patient happiness and patient dissatisfaction, this can be simplified to one decision – whether to have the liposculpture procedure or not.
London Lipo Institute follow the latest international guidelines on this crucial area of optimising patient outcomes.
The body areas that can be treated by Liposculpture are different for women and men. The most frequently treated areas for women are the abdomen, hips, outer thighs, inner thighs, knees, arms and buttocks. In men, who comprise about 15% to 25% of liposculpture patients, the most commonly treated areas include the abdomen, flanks (“love-handles”), and breasts. At consultation, you can specify which areas you would like treated – your surgeon will then devise a treatment plan to create the most aesthetically pleasing result for you.
London Lipo Institute surgeons employ a technique that uses large volumes of very dilute local anaesthesia that is injected into the fat causing the targeted areas to become tumescent, or swollen and firm. tumescent anaesthesia is widely regarded as the safest form of anaesthesia for liposculpture. The tumescent anaesthesia persists for many hours, and there is no need for prescription pain medications after the procedure. Liposculpture can be accomplished painlessly totally by local anaesthesia. The patient remains awake during the procedure and can communicate freely. London Lipo Institute employ the latest liposculpture technologies to ensure fat deposits are removed in the safest and most effective manner possible.
Liposculpture is an advanced form of liposuction but is slightly different to conventional liposuction. It is used particularly in the process of precision body contouring, which uses the removal and sometimes reshaping of fat to enhance the prominence and definition of muscles and certain problem areas of the body, like the abdomen, hips and thighs.
Liposculpture is performed under local anaesthetic and can therefore avoid most of the swelling and bleeding associated with earlier forms of liposuction. An anaesthetic solution is usually injected into the area being treated to constrict the arteries and blood vessels and keep potential bleeding and swelling to a minimum. Advanced liposculpture differs from liposuction mainly because our surgeons are using their artistic skills to sculpt the areas causing concern and not just physically removing fat deposits. Advanced liposculpture can even remove greater amounts of fat than liposuction if required but is more concerned specifically with body sculpting and more subtly reshaping certain areas of the body. It is used most commonly on the abdomen, upper thighs, back and upper arms.
The technique we use is based on a movement of NUTATION, which enables the fatty tissues to be removed while respecting the other tissues. This will make the postoperative course shorter and much more comfortable for the patient. 3D Advanced liposculpture represents a real evolution for the patient and for the surgeon. Over the last 10 years, this technology has become the reference technique in LIPOSCULPTURE.
With numerous academic studies all over the world (Europe, USA, Brazil, Asia,…) and without having been ever contradicted, this technique has already convinced thousands of patients across the world.
Advanced liposculpture is used to distinguish liposuction from 3-dimensional body contouring – the hallmark of advanced liposculpture. It’s not just about fat removal, it’s about reshaping the body by removing (and sometimes adding) the right amounts of fat in the right places.
With liposuction the surgeon is doing just that – suctioning fat only without true 3 dimensional contouring of the entire body silhouette. Considering the overall 3D shape and outcome is truly body sculpting which means your surgeon needs to perform artistic lipoaspiration while refining the body contours without masculinising the female silhouette.
Infrasonic vibration interferes with your brain’s pain receptors which suppresses or blocks pain entirely, and feels like being tickled.
A unique “triple movement” cannula removes fat without causing trauma to the rest of your body so life is back to normal in days, not weeks.
Safer than general anaesthesia, you’re awake for the procedure so you can talk with your surgeon and maintain control of your body.
Body fat is gently removed using a special cannula that does not burn or cut and stops when non-fatty tissue is touched, reducing trauma while improving fat removal.
The fibrous network and non-fatty tissue under the skin are preserved while improved fat removal uniformity provides excellent skin retraction and flat, smooth skin.
Remove stubborn body fat from one or more areas at the same time, including difficult or delicate spots that require extra special care.
The body is sculpted with precision to the desired shape and size, removing all types of fat, including fibrous, more effectively.

Particularly in the abdominal area, there are often puckered scars for example following appendix removal or caesarean scars. These scars make aspiration more difficult, and are also visible after liposculpture as unsightly indented areas. This effect is due to the increased post traumatic formation of collagen tissue, which starts directly under the dermis and extends, depending on the depth of scarring, into the subcutaneous tissue and muscle fascias. In subcision, after the tumescent anaesthesia is administered and before actual liposculpture is begun, a 14-gauge cannula or suture scalpel is passed under such an area of scarring to sever the scarred connective tissue strands at all levels. Particular attention is paid to the superficial layer, which should not be treated in liposculpture. It must be kept in mind, especially if there is extensive or older scarring, that larger blood vessels may have ingrown and should therefore be treated with care. Subcision has proved successful in the case of very extensive cellulitic skin puckering, a technique developed largely by the Brazilian doctor, Doris Hexsel. Since here the surface topography is significantly affected by the arrangement of connective tissue fibres, the severing of these contributes to visual improvement.

I had neck/jaw Lipo on Friday evening 16/10/15 after wanting it done since I was 16 as I have never had a jaw line or definition in my neck as always had a slope. The team have been absolutely fantastic. First of all arranging it on a Friday evening so I could have longer to recover over the weekend so I can go back to work on Monday. The communication from everyone has been fantastic. The procedure was great (If you can say great about a tube sucking out fat from your neck!). But seriously made me feel such at ease, comfortable and felt in such safe hands. The surgeon was so meticulous and careful which was great as the neck and jaw are visible to all. I was given a number of one of the surgeons whom I could contact if I had any queries or problems and also Michelle's contact details. This I must say has been extremely helpful. Seriously would not get that kind of patient care and attention anywhere I know and from anywhere I know of people have gone to. Great price, great customer care and attention and great professional and qualified team. Thank you to you all, it really means so much to me, its a massive life changer for me and I have all of you to thank for that! :)
